تأتي أهمية دراسة الآثار الاقتصادية للطلاق في مصر من أجل حل المشكلات الاقتصادية التي تتعلق بالرفاهية والتغيرات التي تطرأ على مستوى معيشة النساء المطلقات وأطفالهن.
وقد تناولت الدراسة بحث أسباب الطلاق في مصر، ثم الآثار الاقتصادية الناتجة عنها؛ سواء المتعلقة بالفرد، أو الأسرة، أو المجتمع، أو الدولة.
كما قدمت الدراسة أهم الضوابط الشرعية والعملية للحد من مشكلة الطلاق، كما قدمت اقتراح جملة من التوصيات التي يمكن أن تؤدي إلى تقليل آثار الطلاق الاقتصادية على الرجل والمرأة والطفل والمجتمع والدولة.
The importance of studying the economic effects of divorce in Egypt comes in order to solve economic problems related to welfare and the changes in the standard of living of divorced women and their children.
The study discussed the causes of divorce in Egypt, and the resulting economic effects, whether related to the individual, the family or the Statehood.
The study also presented the most important legitimacy and practical controls to reduce the problem of divorce; it also made a number of recommendations that could reduce the effects of economic divorce on man, woman, child and the statehood.
